About Vectrip

Vectrip is a corporate travel workflow platform for the people who actually run company travel: executive assistants, chiefs of staff, operations leads, and the finance person who has to explain the spend at the end of the quarter.

Why we built it

Company travel almost never lives in one system. The request arrives in Slack or email. The approval is a reply to that email. The booking happens on an airline site, a hotel portal, or through an agency. The confirmation sits in someone's inbox. The policy is a PDF nobody opens. When a trip changes at 11pm, whoever booked it becomes the help desk.

We built Vectrip so that the request, the approval, the policy check, the booking record, the traveler's itinerary, and the audit trail all point at one trip — no matter where the reservation itself came from.

What Vectrip does — and does not do

It does

  • Capture travel requests in plain language
  • Route approvals to the right approver or manager
  • Check trips against your policy before money is spent
  • Hold booking records and confirmations from any source
  • Deliver traveler itineraries by email, PDF, and mobile
  • Report spend by traveler, department, and cost center
  • Keep a full audit history of who changed what

It does not

  • Replace your GDS or travel agency
  • Guarantee the lowest fare on the market
  • Rebook you automatically during a disruption
  • Post entries to your general ledger
  • Reimburse expenses or replace your expense tool
  • Give immigration, visa, or entry-eligibility advice

Where we are today

Vectrip is early. We are onboarding a small group of design partners rather than advertising customer counts we do not have. You will talk to the people building the product, and requests from early customers go straight into what ships next.

How your data is handled

Each company's data is isolated at the database level. Passport details and other sensitive traveler fields are stored apart from ordinary preferences, encrypted, and restricted by role. Sign-in supports multi-factor authentication, and every meaningful change is written to an audit log. Vectrip does not hold SOC 2 certification today; when that changes we will publish it rather than imply it.
