Acceptable Use Policy

Version 2026-06-16

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes activities prohibited on the Vectrip platform. It applies to every user of the Service, including organization admins, coordinators, approvers, and travelers, and it is incorporated into the Terms of Service. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates this AUP.

1. Lawful use only

You may not use Vectrip to plan, support, or coordinate any activity that violates applicable laws, including export controls, sanctions, anti-bribery, anti-money-laundering, or human-trafficking laws.

2. Travel-specific prohibitions

  • No bookings or itineraries that knowingly facilitate human trafficking, illegal immigration, or sanctioned-party travel.
  • No use of Vectrip to circumvent corporate travel policies you do not have authority to bypass.
  • No fraudulent submission of receipts, expenses, or traveler profiles.
  • No use of synthetic, stolen, or unauthorized payment instruments.

3. Security

  • No probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Service without prior written authorization from Vectrip security.
  • No bypassing authentication, rate limits, role-based access, or row-level isolation between organizations.
  • No introduction of malware, scripts, or automated agents that degrade Service performance for other tenants.
  • No reverse engineering, decompiling, or scraping of the Service or its APIs at scale.

4. Content

  • Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, including third-party confidential information.
  • Do not store payment card numbers (PAN), full track data, CVV codes, or government secrets in free-text fields. Use the dedicated, encrypted travel-document fields where applicable.
  • Do not use Vectrip to send unsolicited marketing, spam, or bulk communications.

5. AI features

  • You will not use Vectrip's AI features to generate fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful content.
  • You retain responsibility for reviewing AI-generated proposals, summaries, and recommendations before acting on them.

6. Traveler privacy

Coordinators and admins handle traveler personal data (passport, emergency contact, date of birth). You agree to access this data only on a need-to-know basis for legitimate trip-coordination purposes and to keep sensitive credentials confidential.

7. Reporting abuse

If you discover a vulnerability or witness violation of this AUP, email legal@vectrip.com. We acknowledge reports within two business days.

8. Enforcement

Violations may result in suspension, account termination, removal of offending content, or notification of relevant authorities. For material violations we may terminate the organization's subscription without refund.
